Summary/Abstract: After briefly reviewing the idea of the novel as an “unfinished” literary type, as well as the history of novel in Montenegrin literature, I will analyze the basic features of the novel Mojkovac Battle, focusing on poetical procedure in this narrative text. In this novel Sajric uses diverse and numerous tools, the most dominant of which in are repetition and variation involving verbal units, symbolization, and leitmotif composition.
