Summary/Abstract: The rotating presidency of the European Union is part of the democratic mechanism in which the states decisively participate in the adoption of the legislative agenda in the Union. The presentation of the organizational aspects, the attributions and the decision-making methods, and of the internal organization shall be complemented by aspects regarding the political and institutional context in which Romania will, for the first time, take over the European mandate, but also by the priorities and fields of action already announced. In the end, the vulnerabilities and the possible means of action will be presented.
