Financial Employees Participation in Enterprises and the Requirements of a Real Democracy at Work

Summary/Abstract: The participation of employees in their own enterprises took three forms of manifestation, namely social dialogue, participation in the decision-making process and financial participation. If the first two directions were structured from a normative and institutional point of view, the way in which financial partici¬pation is materialized is still the subject of discussion.The author presents a series of international practices regarding the financial participation of the workers in enterprises as well as the preoccupations for their promotion at the level of the European Union. At the same time, he notes that in Romania the advantages of such employee involvement are ignored despite the not very happy market situation labor force and low quality of life.
