Summary/Abstract: Law no. 174/2018 amends the old regulation regarding the prevention and combat against domestic violence, bringing as a novelty element The provisional restraining order, by means of which an authentic preventive measure has been implemented against domestic violence. The amendment is welcomed, as it is much easier to grant a protection order in domestic violence situations but one must clarify to which extent this new regulation breaks the fundamental human rights or not.
