Genre miniatures for brass instruments in the works of composers Ukrainian 80–90-ies of XX century

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to determine genre-style features of miniatures for brass wind instruments of Ukrainian composers 80–90s of the twentieth century. The methodology of the research is based on the application of evolutionary and historical methods – in revealing the processes of formation and further evolution of the investigated genre; stylistic and intonation analysis – in the study of miniatures with the participation of the brass in a timely manner; analytical – in the development of multilingual literature in relation to the chosen problem. The scientific novelty of the work is the introduction into the scientific circulation of a specific nootographic material, analyzed for the first time and generalization of the leading genre-style trends of the genre of the late twentieth century. Conclusions. The thumbnail for brasswinds focuses on the features of genre-stylistic processes of contemporary Ukrainian creativity, such as the coexistence of the plurality of styles, nephews, composer techniques, aimed at maximizing the sound capabilities of these instruments, an introduction of new play techniques.
