Conditions of Non-Financial Support for Non-Governmental Organizations by Stakeholders

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to identify various forms of non-financial support for non--governmental organizations. Classifications and characteristics of NGO stakeholders wereused in the discussion on the conditions for co-creation of the organizations’ values. Case studies of non-governmental organizations operating in Poland, including The PKO BankPolski Foundation and the DKMS Foundation, as well as examples of undertakings carrie dout by those entities show different, often innovative, forms of engaging stakeholders inphilanthropic activities. In addition to volunteering, these activities include participation incharity runs and other special events, transfer of gifts of various nature and value, blood and bone marrow donations, recommendations, online voting etc. These examples are used to consider the possibilities of measuring stakeholders’ engagement and assessing the valueof non-financial support of NGOs.
