Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work is to study the conceptual foundations of professional creative skill and performance of bandura players in the conditions of modern cultural development. The methodology is to apply the general scientific principle of objectivity, historical-logical, analytical and cultural methods in the study of factors that determine the levels of professionalism in bandura performance, the selection of bandura repertoire, which contributes to enhancing the level of development and bandura capabilities as an academic instrument. The scientific novelty of the work is to actualize the modern trends of cultural development in close interconnection and influence on the dynamics of musical, in particular, bandura, performing as a holistic artistic and aesthetic phenomenon of musical culture. Conclusions. As a result of the conducted research, it is concluded that the principles of professional bandura performance are determined by professional developments both methodological and practical, connected with the process of academic development of the instrument and its new repertoire, as well as modern trends of multicultural development, which in turn influences searches. musical instruments of expressiveness, contemporary instrument sound. The role of musical professional education and national-cultural outlook of musician-performer in the development of bandura art is emphasized.
