Knowledge Manager in the Space of Resources Transformation – Conceptual Model

Summary/Abstract: In the modern knowledge-based economy, the issue of optimal management of such fundamental resource, is of particular significance. Such management isa task that requires making conscious, professional management decisions. That is why we are faced with the necessity of determining the place and role of the knowledge manager in the organization. Reflections on his importance in the process of resource transformation lead to the formulation of conceptual assumptions of the knowledge manager model. This model was embedded on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of theoretical content regarding fundamental issues that allow to understand the nature and the most important determinants of the problem.
