Summary/Abstract: The study presents an analysis of preparation and application level of business development plans and operating strategies in “micro and small e-businesses” and trends related to the development of micro and small companies creating the e-business environment. The study includes a contemporary understanding of e-business and its place in the structure of information society collections. The basic elements ofe-business strategic potential were analyzed. The results of the research answered tothe questions about the degree of application and use of selected strategic remediation activities. In the context of the subject literature analysis and empirical studies, trendsin the development of e-business in Poland have been characterized. It can be a determinant in the strategic activities of micro and small companies from the e-business environment.
