Innovative Projects as a Driving Force in Implementing Changes in the Industry 4.0

Summary/Abstract: Industry 4.0 based on such pillars as innovation, automation and robotisation, increases the importance of project management in enterprises. The implementation of this concept will be mainly supported by innovative projects. In order to meet the challenges connected with the concept of Industry 4.0, organizations will have to implement new management methods that will lead to greater efficiency and allow to adapt the way of doing business in response to changing customer needs. The aim of the article is to present the concept of the process approach as a key element of project management of innovative projects.
