Summary/Abstract: For centuries, time management based on religious rules was used in monasteries. In the article, the starting point will be the four most significant in the Catholic Church religious rules (St. Benedict, St. Augustine, St. Francis and St. Ignatius), which will be used to analyze these assumptions with regard to their implementation in practice religious. It is therefore interesting, as is the practice and - what is even more interesting - how to be rules and practices to the indications of modern management science, and especially young subdiscipline time management (Time management); and what are the values, rules and traditions that allow you to attain their objectives monks and use the time in an optimal way. It’s about finding answers to the question: how time is used in such elements as: prayer, work, rest and sleep.
