Summary/Abstract: The main goal of this paper is to present the principles of state counterterrorism policy in the Russian Federation. The primary objective of counterrorist activity in the Russian Federation is the protection of individual citizens, the society and the state against terrorist attacks and other terrorism-related incidents.
