Summary/Abstract: Innovation in physical distribution has become an important tool for business to compete on the market. Internet stores use them in their business. Their importance is growing up year by year. The aim of this article is to identify innovations in physical distribution which may be used to gain the competition advantage. Using literature review author describes selected innovation in physical distribution. Moreover, their importance in the functioning of retailers is shown.
