Summary/Abstract: This paper reviews the literature on selected topics on risk issues in the activities of transport operators. Particular attention was paid to the Requirements for minimizing logistic risk in refrigerated transport. Risk minimization is the process of reducing the probability and impact of a risk. International regulations and laws established to increase the shipment safety and, consequently, risk minimization are elaborated in the paper.
