Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the possibility of using selected decision making instrument in logistics organizations. The paper is based on background literature and the analysis of actual instruments used in enterprises. Every institution must deal with many different kinds of risk. The notion of “risk” and its ramifications permeate decision-making processes in each individual’s life and business outcomes and of society itself.
