Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to identify solutions that enable innovation to increasein the selected enterprise. The theoretical part of the article contains information on the essence of innovation in the modern economy. The research part of the article presents the results of research and conclusions from an interview conducted with a representative of the selected Polish enterprise. The research hypothesis is that enterprises are able to develop individual solutions that will aim to eliminate constraints, strengthen their own potential and take advantage of opportunities, thus leading to increased innovation andmarket success. In the theoretical part of the article a literature review were used. In the empirical part, obtained information was used based on an in-depth interview. This allowed for a fairly accurate and detailed identification of the approach of the studied group of enterprisesto the issues discussed. Activities consistent with the concept of innovative business are primarily ethical activitiesin relation to ecology, society and economics. The motivators for undertaking in novative ventures are greater profits or reducing costs, streamlining production processes and ensuring the quality of products and personal satisfaction of the owners. Cooperation with the scientific community and other entities on the market gives great opportunities for development.
