Cultural Heritage Protection during Contingencies

Summary/Abstract: In contingencies different values are endangered – mainly life and human health,possessions or also natural environment. It is hard to notice cultural assets directly pointed in this group of values. It is possible to notice that this sphere was mentioned only slightly in legal documents. This sphere is not updated. The author in this article described analysis of available literature and legal documents and used other research methods (for instance the comparison, the synthesis or an inference) to present the current state of this issue as well as to indicate possible short comings of the system.
