Summary/Abstract: People over 50 will soon comprise one of the largest employee groups. It is therefore necessary to pay attention to older employees and to introduce the concept of agemanagement in businesses. Benefiting from age management requires multidirectional actions, both regarding changes in the mentality of the society and its attitude to the professional activity of older people, as well as in the attitude of the companies the mselves to employing and developing older people. In this study the author focused on one of the dimensions of age management, lifelong learning. If activities within this dimension do not take into account the specific needs and learning capacities of older people, they will lose their effectiveness. Therefore the purpose of this article is to show best practice in providing training to employees over the age of 50 and to show the advantages associated with age management in this field.
