Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the article is a selective description of work-related transformations in the context of an emergence of a new paradigm of development and a wide spread of digital communication technology. The analysis has a theoretical character andit covers such issues as a change in the paradigm of development, sharing economy, future of the labor market etc.. It is assumed that this reflection will help to draw attention tonew trends in understanding what work is and to the development of new labor relations,which in the future should be taken into consideration in both educational and managerial processes.
