Summary/Abstract: The article depicts the problem of supporting personnel decisions in the enterprise. Starting from the characteristics of human capital and decisions in the area of personnel policy of the company, it pointed out the complex and unstructured nature of the problems of decision-making in this area, justifying the need to use decision support tools. There were presented selected results of research on the use of human capital analysis to make personnel decisions in companies operating in Poland, conducted within the framework of the project „Human capital as part of the company”. The final section presents ways to support decision-making personnel using the tools of measuring human capital (NKL) –which is the result of this project.
