Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the logistics industry is developing very dynamically. The effective flow of people, goods and services is an necessary element of the efficient functioning of the supply chain. Their successive development will depend on the development of logistics facilities, while the development of companies, regions and countries are very important. The development is affected to growth competitiveness. Diversification of economic structures, transport accessibility, the existence of scientific and research facilities and the surrounding business environment affect competitiveness. Objects are varied in terms of economic development. Therefore, it was decidedto analyze the voivodships in terms of the development of the logistics industry in Poland. The aim of the article is to assess the level and compare the competitiveness of the logistics sector in Poland, by voivodships in 2010 and 2016. The methods of exploratory data analysis were used to measure competitiveness. The study includes 16 variables which characterized the logistics industry in terms of economic, social, technical, organizational and environmental.
