Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to identify the critical factors determining the development of the electromo- bility ecosystem in the context of sustainable, innovative and responsive mobility systems. The arti- cle is devoted to the study of the relationship between the development of the electromobility system and the possibilities of creating a sustainable and resistant to disturbance value chain of this system. The article reviews the basic strategies for the development of mobility in line with the assumptions of the European Green Deal and the „Fit for 55” package. The current state of development of the elec- tric vehicle (EV) market is shown, which implies a number of challenges in the context of creating sustainable and resilient mobility.A review of the literature on the subject and the results of preliminary research confirmed the impor- tance of critical factors. According to the respondents, taking active measures to increase the level of sustainability and resilience of the system should, first of all, be focused on the further development of the charging infrastructure and creating a battery value chain for EVs, i.e., „engineering resilience”.
