Summary/Abstract: The article presents the stand of vegetable and animal production which is comfortable with method of organic farming. It aims at pointing out the increasing importance of this art of farming which started in 70. in connection with the change of consumption model. In the article has been shown that the for over 20 years lasting the intensive development of farming in EU with crop rotation and using of manures coming from own farms is gaining starker and starker position on the agriculture market. The trends in the changes of the supply structure on the EU organic products market have been touched too. The attention has been paid to the great differentiation of development of organic farming in particular member EU countries. In the article the increasing interest to organic farming in the countries of Middle-east Europe has been emphasised resulting from their membership in EU and especially from improvement of financial and legal standing of organic farming and from access to the new sales markets.
