Summary/Abstract: In the era of a knowledge-based economy, it is usually an important task to permanently assess the effectiveness of education. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to present the system of vocational education for the TSL sector at the high school level withits financing in the aspect of achieved effects by pupils/students in the form of pass rate exams confirming professional qualifications. The clash of these two elements allowed forthe formulation of a number of important conclusions. The article was based on the analysis of formal and legal documents and normative acts applicable in the are a described. This study is a contribution to the PhD dissertation of one of the co-authors, thus constituting the basis for further consideration in the discussed area.
