Summary/Abstract: Unfavourable demographic changes are one of the most important challenges faced by most countries of the European Union. They translate directly onto an observable progressing process of the aging of society. The aging of society has negative consequences for the changes occurring in the structure of supply on the labour market. The aim of the paper is to show age management as a new area of human resources management in an organization, which is a response to changes occurring in the structure of supply on the labour market in the context of the process of the aging of society. The paper was based mostly on a critical analysis of the literature, supplemented by secondary data coming from statistical reports and summaries.
