Summary/Abstract: This article examines the phenomenon of state branding from the point of viewof political science, marketing and research in international relations. It reveales the essence of thestate brand and state branding; the importance of a strong brand for the state, for its nationalinterests; the technologies and features of state branding campaigns have been researched; theexperience of branding campaigns in the UK and Germany has been analyzed as the mostinteresting and effective.
