Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of the analysis and evaluation of some indicatorsof the efficiency of the national tax system. The factors influencing the fiscal pressure are presentedas well as the evolution of fiscal pressure in the Republic of Moldova in the period 2015-2018. Theanalysis provided a number of conclusions and the identification of the problem areas in themanagement efficiency of taxation.
