Summary/Abstract: The article provides a discussion of Jan Lechoń’s poem from a volume The Silver and the Black. The author points to the poem’s relationship with the poet’s homosexual experience and the composition which (through the intertextuality among other things) extracts its homo-textual character and expresses the longing for the safety of the homosexual enclave.
