Summary/Abstract: The contemporary integrated education is a process of constant changes based on socio-political transformations, at the same time it is a new understanding of a child, their inner abilities, worth, strengths and gained experience. The aim of the research was to recognise teachers’ opinions on introducing integrated teaching, determine the effectiveness of introducing this method in 1999 as well as its implementation. The research, carried out among teachers working in the first three grades, shows that the integrated method is a good and effective form of education, and its implementation was justified and expected.
