A Grammar Parser and Its Cognitive Strategies. Some Comments on Syntax and Perception

Summary/Abstract: The author of the article focuses on the problem of the grammar parser from the point of view of psycholinguistics. Perceptual-syntactic strategies are the subject of this work. The author tries to prove that the theory of perceptual speech comprehension strategies does not describe the processing of more difficult sentences. This theory is insufficient as a model of a grammar parser.
