Meaning of Competence Trust in Public Service

Summary/Abstract: The article describes the importance of competence trust in general confidence building in public entities. Activities of public office are strictly determined by the procedures. In customer relations, public institution employees’ competence is a factor which shapes the assessment and satisfaction with services. The purpose of the article is to point out the importance of competence trust in the provision of public services. Author attempts to assess those issues through the literature analysis and theoretical discussions.
