Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of research carried out authorial methodology in 2014–2015. The aim of the research was to identify successor’s competencies followed by an assessment of their use in the process of succession. The result of the research is developed in graphically a preliminary profile of competence success during the Polish Succession in family businesses.
