The Benefits of Functioning in Clusters for Small and Medium- -sized Enterprises

Summary/Abstract: Every economy benefits from the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, which is why searching for factors affecting their growth is so vital. One of these is definitely an opportunity to cooperate with other businesses. Clusters are an interesting form of collaboration for SME. The aim of this paper is to describe the most important characteristics of this form of cooperation, pointing out the benefits of clusters for SME and confronting theory with practice. The article uses available literature and selected Polish research on the issue.
