Summary/Abstract: This work aims to outline the main factors which influence foreign migrants to stay and live in China. It points out the migration as a process is nothing new to the world, but only changes its shapes. It argues that China is one of the new destinations which attract migrants as a result of the intense processes of globalization and development of communications and infrastructure. These processes have caused China to become a leading world economy, while shedding the skin of a closed communist country. Its leading place on the big world stage has made it attractive to students, investors, businessmen, which leads to more people willing to stay and live in China.
