Circumstances of Violence in the Family

Summary/Abstract: The properly functioning family fully does its tasks and supports development of a young person. However, if any disturbances occur, some breaking of common rules and codes appear, done by all or some members of the family. As a result of these negative phenomena occurring in the family, there might appear pathologies of various kinds affecting family members. The consequence of the above is the increase in emotional tension leading to aggression and violence in the family. A lot of hypotheses concerning causes and circumstances of violence in the family have been formed. They are completed and improved along with the dynamically happening changes and transformations of the family.
