COMPARISON OF MODEL AND CLASSIFICATION OF LEXICAL BORROWING WITH FOCUS ON TRANSMORPHEMIZATION OF GERMANISM

Summary/Abstract: Despite the numerous works devoted to lexical borrowers, the classification of lexical borrowers, as well as the terminology referring to them in literature, is rather uneven. This arises from various criteria according to which classification is performed, such as borrowing strategy, borrowing result, degree of integration, scope of use, frequency and the like. In this paper we will compare some methodologies and classifications, and then offer an innovative concept of methodology and classification that we consider acceptable for the research of borrowed lexics from the German language and their adaptation into the Bosnian language.
