Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the relations between economy and law, public and private law in order to determine the jurisdiction of the economic law norms and to argue the imperious need to recognize the national security law as distinctive branch of the national law and the economic security law as its subdivision. There are also reviewed the constitutional normative provisions underlying the exclusive obligation of the state to provide the security of the national economic system, including by setting a system of juridical norms that may contribute efficiently and permanently to the realization of the economic aspect in the national interest of the Republic of Moldova. It has been hereby realized a synthesis of doctrinal positions in order to substantiate scientifically the need of determining the national security law as distinctive branch of the national law generally and the economic security law especially.
