Summary/Abstract: Most of the architects and other experts who worked in the Technical Institutes of the Ministry of the Interior were political prisoners. However, the communist regime would expand the ranks of imprisoned specialists by other means, too, which to the outside world was made to seem like an investigation into economic crime. An especially high number of prisoners were “gained” from a police raid on the Advertising and Promotion Agency (IPRA).
