Summary/Abstract: The communist opposition which established itself after the 5th Convention of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in 1929 is almost unknown today, even though it was an important phenomenon in the history of the Czechoslovak communist movement. It also involved many politicians who had been leaders of the Party in the 1920s and a considerable number of the Party’s members.
