The Dictaphone Story, or Conversation with Yourself about What is Important

Summary/Abstract: Due to my previous scientific experience, in the text I analyze my relation with the voice recorder. I consistently notice its essential significance for my scientific activity; thus, it confirms the importance of materiality in conducting scientific research. I also question any attempts to depreciate any topics and forms of research. I use an interview with myself, which is a form of artistic creation embedded in the Arts-Based Reaserch, and thanks to this, by evocation, I discover the reasons for my fascination with the interview. Moreover, I emphasize the importance of spontaneity during scientific research.
