Summary/Abstract: In 2013, which marks three centuries since the birth of Denis Diderot, this paper represents a reflection on the intellectual heritage of this prominent French Enlightenment philosopher. The author deals with Diderot’s unfulfilled wish of publishing his own collected works, although he made three attempts at this endeavour, provides an overview of Diderot’s editions since 1798 until the present day, along with respective critical reviews and, finally, offers a list of Diderot’s pieces in the domain of art of literature and literary theory.
