Summary/Abstract: This study is aimed at dealing with the issue of enforcement of judgments rendered in appeal. To begin, we identified the general prerequisites for initiating the enforcement (writ of execution, a certain, liquid and exigible debt) and we examined the relationship between them. Subsequently, we examined the extentto which these prerequisites are met when it is intended to enforce a judgment delivered by the court of appeal, by reference to the solutions which could be delivered by this court, making also a series of comments regarding the institution of impeachment of the enforceable nature of the judgment under appeal. Anyway, the final part of the study was reserved for the submission of the conclusions at which we arrived.
