Summary/Abstract: This article tackles with the recent changing and improvement in the Romanian National Intelligence Community and their implications for intelligence. The National Intelligence Community represents a step forward for the Romanian intelligence management. It was meant to bring coherence in intelligence activity, to improve the cooperation between national intelligence agencies, the production of intelligence reports and the flow of tactical intelligence, and also to assure the efficacy of strategic intelligence. I consider that an authority over the existing intelligence agencies will bring improved intelligence sharing (by promoting interagency communication and cooperation), which is likely to be a major accomplishment for intelligence reforms over the next decade.
