Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a description of speech disorders, in particular those concerning phoneme realization. The author provides a review of different methods in describing speech defects with regard to phoneme realization and she points out to pros and cons of these methods. She also formulates her own proposal for the description of speech impediments taking into account all phonetic categories
