Summary/Abstract: This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the dialectological studies of the speech of Tuzla and its surroundings from Brabec’s researches from the mid-20th century to the present state. The paper critically reviews some of the views known in the literature on the speeches of the Tuzla region. It also lists all data on published works that describe the speeches of Tuzla region or some phenomena in them.
