Summary/Abstract: The period when the article was written corresponds to the time when the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus was declared and when the state of emergency was established in Romania in order to limit the infection with coronavirus (COVID-19), during which, measures were taken for this purpose, which limits the free movement of all persons. The article analyzes aspects related to the free movement of persons and the measures established in order to limit the infection with COVID-19, correlated with the possibility of people to express the last will during the state of emergency in Romania. The article examines the possibility of signing an authentic will in front of the public notary in a notary's office or, in certain cases, outside the notary's office, as well as the possibility to conclude a privileged will under the extraordinary conditions generated by the March 2020 pandemic, caused by the coronavirus.
