File access regarding pre trial detention in Hungary

Summary/Abstract: In this lecture I would like to analyse the procedural rules regarding pre-trial detention, especially the provisions on supporting evidence being drawn to the attention of the defence. This is a crucial matter of the criminal procedure, for the defendant may be kept in detention for a long time in Hungary, even without a final judgement, with all the negative consequences experienced in the detention facilities.
