Summary/Abstract: The article aims at characterizing the right to good administration as one of the fundamental rights of an individual which pertains to the third generation of human rights, due to belonging to the category of political and civil rights. In the study attention was also paid to the link between the right to good administration and the rule of law with its constitutional support, which is closely linked to the principle of democratic rule of law. Accordingly, the article focuses on an attempt to define the right to good administration and to define its content, characteristics, legal bases and guarantees. The study was based on normative and non-binding acts, both national-Polish and European. Literature of the subject, case law and electronic sources were used.
