Summary/Abstract: The specialized language, because of its specificity, is more often thought up and considered as useful. This point of view which is mainly aimed at the systematized and normalizing step has been predominated from the appearance of this code in the Vienna School. There have been also some tendencies targeted at the translation of specialized texts proposed by the centres in Canada and Belgium. The works of these centres, promoting the appearance of some terminological banks, have shown also the impact of diachronic, geographical and social dialectal differences on the process of translation. In this article, we are going to prove that the diasystemic variation which concerns the specialized terminology the same as the general vocabulary represents an important problem. Every translator should take it into account.
