Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on the issue of stimulation of verbal behavior in children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders. The aim of the study is to present the process of learning mand as a verbal operant supporting the verbal behavior of preschool children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders, based on the creation of appropriate motivation and use of recommended effective methods and strategies resulting from applied behavioral analysis in special education practice in Slovakia. The study identifies specific manifestations of these children in social interaction and communication, as well as the issue of stimulating their verbal behavior.
